Our Enchanting Danube travels were punctuated with memorable visits to the towns of Passau, Melk, Linz, Salzburg, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. Here I’ve selected some of the highlights from these tours for your enjoyment. Did I mention that we attended a concert in a palace in Vienna and another in a Basilica in Budapest – [...]

The experience in Egypt was awesome and memorable. Here I have chosen a few highlights from the many still images I photographed in the sites and temples of Cairo, Luxor, Edfu, Aswan and Abu Simbel. My favourite god is Horus and my favouriet pharoah is Ramses II. You can also enjoy these at Bubbleshare at:

My recommendation would be for future MLEARN 2008 organisers to make the most of the mobile [...]

The conference for Mobile Learning is in full swing now with several keynotes and breakouts done and dusted. Okay we’re coming to the end of our third E – Europe! Our Enchanting Danube cruise was well worth it and I would recommend it to anyone. Five star accommodation on the River Empress with happy and attentive staff made our journey down the Danube unforgettable. Did you know that there are 11 locks between [...]

Egypt is areal culture shock and this post is done under extremly difficult conditions. 3 goes at this in an Internet Cafe in Luxor.
I have gazed at the pyramids, climbed down into the tombs in the valley of the kings, videoed the columns at Karnak, photographed the enigmatic smile of the sphynx, swum in the [...]

Weston-super-Mare is our first stop in England – after negotiating the M3 and the A30 again. This is a typical English seaside resort town with a pier (although part of it burnt down only recently) a little like St Kilda pier. It was raining for most of the day but we didn’t care – walking [...]
